Every restaurant in NYC/ Bergen County that was HIGHLY rated by Zagats, NY Times, 201 Magazine, Chowhound, NY Magazine, Yelp or other sources can be found on my website. Essentially, I use Zagat's rating system but create a crib-notes of just the best of the best. If ALL of the reliable sources out there highly rate a place, and I or my staff agrees, it can be found here. Click on the tabs to the left where the restaurants, bars and other information can be found complete with summary, hyperlinks to the establishment, phone number, and rating/ description. NYC - Dine by Cuisine or Dine by Neighborhood: Pick the TYPE of food you want, in 'Dine by Cuisine', or pick the Neighborhood you want to dine in, and find your restaurant that way!! Bergen County - Dine by Cuisine or Dine by Town. Again, you pick your type of cuisine, which is then organized by Town OR you pick the Bergen County Town you want to dine in, and the restaurants ae listed that way. Within each tab is an ultra user-friendly listing, always in geographic order, of what you need. Complete with a Review; Description; Phone Numbers; Zagat-style rating; Hyper-Link to the Webpage; and fun pictures at the bottom of most pages. More Boring Ramblings About the Site I truly believe that once you decide to 'go out' you don't want to spend 10 hours sifting through dozens of restaurant reviews. You know WHAT you want to eat.. OR, at least, you know WHERE you want to eat it. I have sorted these restaurant pages by cuisine type and geography. The Bars and Gourmet Market pages by Neighborhood and then Geographically within each 'Hood. Then... once you know where or what type of food.... you don't need 10 Million choices. I've done all the work for you. I have limited each cuisine type to a limited number of selection of choices to make your life easy. Over the course of the past 9 years, I have compiled an incredible amount of research regarding New York's top nightlife and shopping experiences. Please WRITE ME with questions, comments, suggestions, praise, critiques, or anything else. I want to take Zagat's to a whole other level. The goal isn't to compile an all inclusive list.
