Lounge. 77 W Houston St @ Wooster; Romantic; Great drinks; Well known for exotic cocktails- one of the best in NYC for specialty drinks; Cool new place. Slightly pricey. “Drinks here are liquid art”   

 

Puck Fair: Irish Pub. 298 LaFayette @ Houston – Prince; Upscale pub with amazing food and beer; Large Irish bar. Singles scene, happy hour and into the night; Great décor. Good music.  Seasonal drafts. Excellent craft beer selection.

 
Pravda: Lounge. 281 Layfayette @ Prince-Houston; Cool lounge. Russian theme. Vodka and Martini Bar; Russian themed food- amazing quality; Trendy and pricy;  More of a restaurant than bar. Flavored vodkas.

 
Moomia: Lounge. 158 LaFayette @ Grand-Howard; Egyptian Hooka bar; Huge space; 2 levels; Full food menu- not just appetizers; Cool chill spot or for a date. Great drinks; Pricy.  Ultra cool décor- very impressive.

 
MercBar: Lounge. 151 Mercer @ Houston-Prince; After Work spot; Comfortable & great décor; Date spot; Private Parties; Homey feel – rustic; Excellent cocktails- expensive; Private parties; Trendy NYC at its best.


Fanelli’s: Irish Pub. 94 Prince @ Mercer; Good food; Laid back; Very inexpensive for area; Friendly bartenders – uptown feel in Soho; Relaxing and trustworthy. Ideal place to take break from shopping.  Late night pit stop as well.

 

Grand Bar & Lounge: Hotel Bar. 310 W. Broadway @ Canal-Grand;  Bar at the Soho Grand; Pricy hotel lounge; Very nice inside. Extremely expensive; Impress a date;  Martinis and Cocktails.  Second floor space; Music on weekends.

 

Nancy Whiskey Pub: Dive Bar. 1 Lispenard St @ W B-Way; Big time drunks here; Opens at 9am; Has shuffleboard; Happy hour with $2.50 Bud/ Bud Lt pints; Dirt cheap bar menu;

 

Naked Lunch: Lounge/ Bar. 17 Thompson @ Canal-Grand; Very nice bar/lounge; DJ spinning tunes; Sexy scene – great for a drink with a date or even a nicer after work party. Great specials on Wednesdays. Neighborhood singles scene; Private parties.

 

Madame X: Lounge. 94 W. Houston @ LaGuardia–Thompson; 2 levels. Singles and a very sleek, fun, hip Soho hotspot; No attitude – laid back; Extremely classy and comfortable; Ideal lounge.  Has a garden. One of the best bars in Soho; Friendly for dates, groups and after work or late night.

 

XR Bar: Dive Bar. 128 W Houston @ Sullivan; Reasonably priced drinks, great bartender; DJ playing music; More of a lounge;  Never a cover; Happy hour $3 bottles; Some live music.

 

Thom's Bar: Hotel Bar/ Lounge. 60 Thompson @ Broome-Spring; Hot Thompson Hotel Bar; Hip; Beautiful inside with beautiful people drinking high end mixed drinks, and cocktails; Celeb spot; Sexy; Great for dates.

 

The Room: Lounge. 144 Sullivan @ Houston-Prince; 50+ types of beer; Great wine list; Coaches; Convivial spot; Mixed crowd. Stylish of course as it’s Soho; Singles scene. Feels like someone's apartment!

 

Antarctica: Dive Bar. 287 Hudson @ Spring. Name game- see website. Spacious, has pool table; Excellent Jukebox; Buy Backs. Friendly. Cheap. Great Village like alternative in area;  Private parties – good deals.

 

Gatsby’s: Bar-Lounge. 53 Spring @ Lafayette-Mulberry; Happy Hour Spot; Private Parties; Great DJs on weekend and excellent for sports- 12 TVs; Cocktails, Beer and Friendly Bartender; 20s-30s scene; Laid back.
